Where is Ace Jackalope? (Episode 16)
What sort of disguise is Ace attempting?
What is the formal title of the position he is trying to impersonate?
What is the more commonly used name of that position?
Of course, there is a danger of inaccuracy in choosing a disguise based on pop-culture impressions and available clothing which Ace...uh "persuades" small stuffed souvenir animals to give up. Why is the color he has chosen inappropriate for just an ordinary day in this job?
And, of course...Where is Ace Jackalope?
4 Comments:
Ace is at the Tower of London.
From his disguise he apparently hopes to fit in with the Tower's guards in their ceremonial uniforms.
Their formal title is: "Yeoman Warder of Her Majesty's Royal Palace and Fortress the Tower of London, and Members of the Sovereign's Body Guard of the Yeoman Guard Extraordinary".
They are more commonly known as "Beefeaters."
Does Ace have designs on the Crown Jewels?
All correct and jolly good, Toltec. But if Ace had designs on the Crown Jewels, he'd need a major refinement on his Beefeater uniform. What is the most glaring error in his disguise (aside from the fact that he's a tad shorter than the other guards and has antlers)?
Ace's disguise is missing the scabbard with sword and the halberd (partisan) the Beefeaters usually carry.
Surely Ace would not really need these, as he seems able to charm his way in & out of anywhere he wants.
There is actually something not quite right about the color of the uniform Ace is wearing. What is it?
